Your Easter Plants Needn’t Go to Waste

Oh, Those Beautiful Tulips

DSC_6145If you hosted Easter, you may have more than one plant brought by your guests that are now past their prime. Last year, I was the deeply appreciative recipient of many Easter plants. My sister-in-law Jill, an accomplished gardener, suggested that when the flowers were spent, I put the plant in the ground as is. These yellow tulips, now blooming a year later, are an example of the results of her good advice.

Good memories. Two beautiful plants.
