Lyndhurst, NJ – Help for the Hungry

I was recently approached by a woman at the Shop-Rite in Lyndhurst, NJ who said, “You would be surprised to know how many people in Lyndhurst do not have enough to eat. I would not. Food Sharing Network shares the town’s resources for Lyndhurst’s hungriest residents.

Lyndhurst residents who are in need: Proof of township residency is required. Documentation of hardship is required; for example, unemployment, welfare documentation, medical bills, food stamps.

The Lyndhurst Food Pantry is replenished with generous donations from the community.

Donations can be dropped off during regular business hours. If you know of a family in need, please ask them to call or visit the Lyndhurst Health Department Food Pantry,  253 Stuyvesant Avenue, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071. Monday – Thursday, 1:00 to 3:30 pm.
