An Elegant Choice: Seafood Stew

Lobster and Shrimp StewWhen Food Sharing Network‘s Jill Mathieu needed something special for a landmark birthday celebration, she chose wisely: an elegant seafood stew.

Beginning with a Whole Foods Market website recipe that she tripled, Jill substituted Pinot Grigio for the sherry and used shelled lobster. She also added one pound of scallops, which were pan fried before adding. “I wanted the scallops to have some texture,” she said.

The stew was part of a large menu fit for a hungry crowd, including the steamed mussels you see in our photo.
